Oxycodone while pregnant?

I am almost 8 months pregnant and at the beginning of my pregnancy I was told it was ok to take narcotics while pregnant so I took them throughout my whole pregnancy (mainly oxycodone) and now I am weening myself off of them so my baby is not born going through withdrawls. But now when I do more research I see some stuff that says its ok and some that say its not...Did I hurt my baby?? Please if anyone knows anything please let me know!
