Why is everyone and their dog picking the Chargers to come out of the AFC?

Seems like everyone is saying the Chargers are going to the superbowl because they're so hot right now. Look I'm all for going with the hot team, but why is it that everyone seems to forget the the Colts are on a 14 game winning streak? If you wanna go with the hot team, I think you should go with the Colts right now. What do you think?
