Why Libya not Syria, Yemen,and Bahrain?

Why did NATO only go into Libya, what about all these other slaughters in other nations? I'm not attacking the mission, but can someone tell me a reason, expect for the over used one of "oil"? Did NATO feel it was time for revenge, for lockerbie bombing, and other attacks? Is it really our business, and is this sort of hypocritical?
