The crowd was in hysterics, especially when Snidely, after being resuscitated, proudly displayed her own Depends. The applause was long and loud.

There's a boy I liked that's in a few of my cles and a club I'm in, and I've had a crush on him for about 2 months now. We don't talk a lot because he's a quiet person but when I get him talking once in a while it's fun and we both joke around with each other and it's comfortable (in my opinion). For about a month now he has known that I like him, and from what I can tell he doesn't care or he's ok with it. Today one of his friends who's also my friend was talking to me and said that if I ever wanted to ask him out, how I should do it. I originally thought maybe the kid I like had told him to tell me, but they're not close enough friends that he would have done that. Anyway, after my friend said that I started wondering if maybe it's a good idea to ask him out. I'm not sure if he likes me though, or if he takes me seriously since most of the time I'm with him I act like a spazz or I'm laughing hysterically because that's just the way I am- loud and outgoing. Also, if we don't talk a lot now, if we did end up going out, I'm not sure what would happen. Should I take the chance and ask him or wait and see what happens?

Losing weight, feeling so sick?

I'm 30 weeks, and had horrible sickness w/this one and my first. There's at least 2 different prescriptions that I know of that your dr can give you that are safe during pregnancy. Phenergan (dont know if i spelled that right) and Zofran. I've had both and both helped, the only difference between the 2 that I noticed was the phenergan makes you super sleepy in addition to already being exhausted from the pregnancy. Zofran didn't make me sleepy and help me to at least hold down some food. Hope it helps!

Gas oven electric igniter?

Is the igniter in a gas oven (Maytag) supposed to turn off after the oven ignites or stay on glowing orange the whole time the oven is cooking? Our oven is giving off horrible smells recently so when I cleaned it today I fired it up with the burner cover off and found the igniter smells when it comes on but it stays on the whole time the oven is on even after the burner lights. 2 month old puppy?

I got my Yorkie for christmas and she was 10 weeks old when I got her. I also have a er spaniel who is 8 but we got him when he was only a couple months old as well. from my experience there really isn't that much different in the 2 dogs besides the fact that the yorkie doesn't have as large of a bladder so need to be let out more often. it also made it easier on both dogs to be left at home because they still had eachother for company. when it was just the one dog he would tear stuff up and must have had some sort of seperation anxiety with being left alone. however if your 7 month old is a female she might not accept having another dog around because females are more territorial.

I have not had a proper nights sleep in about two years. Irregular periods.. how do you track ovulation?

my husband and i have been ttc our first for about 8-9 months now. i have irregular periods so much as i can go a good 6 weeks with out a period at all. i went to the dr and they did a sonogram to check my ovaries and they let me know that there was nothing unusual about them... so its kinda unknown why all of a sudden i got irregular. nothing has changed in my weight or diet.. so i dont know!! but it makes it so hard while ttc. so i was wondering what you do if you are irregular as far as pinpointing your ovulation days. someone told me to go by CM, so i did and i THINK its possible i ovulated on the 29th. my LMP was on the 13th. my husband and i BD on the 25, 27, 29, and 31. so now i am playing the waiting game. :( its hard and i dont want to be let down again. any advice would be VERY much appreciated and please send baby dust and prayers my way. thank you!

Gastric stomach cancer?

Hi...my Dad was diagnosed with a malignant stomach tumor about a month ago. He only had trouble sleeping and eating and decided to have his stomach checked for an ulcer. Not only was it an ulcer that he had had for many years, but it became malignant. They live out of state and I went to visit for about 2 weeks, when he had a PET scan which showed it was in his bones and lymphnodes. They told him he may have about 6 mos.! It was totally shocking news for us all. Now as of this past Sat. he's on chemo through a chemo port and also many meds. Today he had his first blood transfusion since his counts are poor and calcium is high. Since starting chemo on Sat. he only tastes metal in anything he tries to eat and is very sensitive to cold things...ie: refrig, AC, water, etc. Does anyone have an experience they can share? Up until mid June we thought it was just the ulcer, but through much research we found that it is the most undectibe type since symptoms are like heartburn.

Shower problem regarding water coming out both shower head and bath head?

Just moved into a house and was wondering what would cause the water to come out both the shower head and bath head? The bath has 3 knobs, 1 for Hot Water, 1 for changing the flow of water to come through the bath or shower head, and 1 for Cold Water. When we turn the flow changer as far as it can go, the water comes through the shower head but still ends up with more water out the bath head. How can we fix this? Thanks

Potty Training Tips Anyone?

I have a 2 year old son and I am a first time mother. I'm trying to get him potty trained. When he was 18 months I tried a few times to sit him on the potty but he was terrified. I gave up and waited till he turned two so I could be sure he was truly ready. A month ago I was changing his diaper and he told me he wanted to sit on the potty. He has not been terrified of it since. The problem I'm having now is he's sittin on it but he won't pee in it. The second paragraph could contain everything about business through the sentence right above the food. The third paragraph would be the two sentences about the food, and the fourth paragraph would be the rest. If you are to have only two paragraphs, you need to weed out some of the info.

DO NOT take more pills than directed. Not only is that bad for your health, but you will be too sick to perform from overdosing on Wednesday if you do that. I accidently took 2 of my BC pills one night and couldn't even get up the next day! Every now and again I have a mental breakdown, and feel like dying. Sometimes It lasts for a few days, or maybe a week. Today it lasted for a few hours. I was fine when I woke up, but I was stressed about my boyfriend's birthday because I hadn't gotten him a present yet. I called my mum at her work to ask her if she was taking me to the shopping centre to get him something, and she said that she wasn't because I hadn't gone to school. I tried to explain that I didn't go to school because I wasn't feeling well. She hung up the phone though. I felt unbelievably angry, and started throwing things off the bench. Then I went to pick everything up and just started hysterically crying. I then started screaming, and begging 'god' to let me die. I then went into the kitchen, got a knife, and attempted to cut myself. I only put a small cut on my arm, and then went and put the knife away. Then I went into my room, cried some more, then fall asleep. When I woke up my mum was home and I walked into the kitchen, said nothing, and sat on the floor with a block of cooking chocolate. I started crying and told her I felt like dying, just as I had several months ago. She said it was because I'd been taking my medication at different times each day. We then agreed to go to the supermarket and get my boyfriend a present. After that I felt fine, but I'm so scared that I'll lose control and start acting crazy again. When I feel really depressed, I can't stand it. There are times when I'm really happy though. I'm so confused, because I don't know if it's just depression, manic depression, or neither.

I purchased a router (Cisco Linksys) and was unable to install it because it said I needed to update to a Windows service pack of some sort. I tried doing this but it still didnt work. My brother thinks my 3yr old daughter misbehaves too much. He says I'm not hard enough on her discipline wise. I think she's pretty well behaved for her age. I give her time outs when she needs them (which is really hardly ever... no more than 3 times a week tops). She listens to me when I tell her to put away her toys and things, she helps me do laundry & clean (she actually loves it). The other day she got a hold of a permanent marker (which I should have had in a safe place of course but I guess my pregnancy brain is getting to me lol I'm 11wks prego) and she marked on my coffee table and herself. I got it off of her very easily with baby wipes but not as easy off the coffee table. But I put her in timeout for it and she was pouting and crying a little and she said "mommy can I get up? I want to help you clean the table" so I let her out and she "helped" me (you know how 3yr olds "help" lol). He said I should have ed her for writing on the coffee table. Well we were at my mom's house (where he lives) and she was playing and he came in the living room with us and started griping at all her toys everywhere. My mom & I told him that she will pick them up when we tell her to (which she does everytime we come over. We never leave my mom's a mess). He's always mean and grumpy to her anyway. He told her to pick them up in a loud mean voice, so she came to me pouting and told me he was being mean. I told him to talk to her nicely and he wouldn't. He told her she better pick up her toys or he was throwing them in the garbage. So she throws a book (a little dr. seuss book) onto the floor towards him. He started griping saying his kid will never act that bad and kept telling her to pick up her toys. I finally told her to pick them up and she did. It only took me telling her one time. I told him that she doesn't listen to him because he scares her all the time being mean to her. He said no you just need to teach her some respect! Now he doesn't have ANY kids. He has a little boy on the way due in August. I told him that shes only 3. She's not going to listen to someone who scares her. He just gets on my nerves!! Do you think I need to be harder on her? She listens to me and her daddy and her grandparents just fine... We only have to tell her things once. The only person she doesn't listen to is my brother and strangers lol. What do you think? I am now open to all of the blessings that God wants to give me. You say "shouldn't we embrace the possibility that there is no God and no life after death because come on lets face it it is a possibility?" I say that there are a lot of possibilities out there. I am not going to embrace the possibility of something just because that possibility exists. For example, I am voting for Obama, now even if you are for McCain, keep an open mind. I want Obama to win, but it is a possibility that McCain will win, however I am not going to "embrace" the possibility of McCain winning. I have no immediate fear of of it, but it is not something I am looking forward to. In my opinion, there is no special significance to such experiences. The brain was not designed to operate on nitrous oxide, and reacts accordingly. The diffrent states he describes are simply the result of intoxication, just like any other sort. There are other destructive ways one can achieve an altered reality, but these realities are not real, they are simply the brain malfunctioning do to a poisoning. He says there is a field of application for these states of mind, but he is wrong, and striving to prolong such experiences will inevitably lead to health risks/problems, and death. We are given what we need to try and master this reality, and this reality only, and all others are in the authors words "artificial", or in other words, fake, manufactured. It's natural to be curious, but to take it too far is to attempt to repeat history by ignoring it's lessons. He is not the first to imply much more significance to the experience than is warranted.

if your on a desktop then yes it is possible. Just have to make sure that it fits in the mother board and the power supply unit can handle the upgrade other wise your computer will overheat because it is drawing to much power that the power supply cant give. if on a laptop I'm afraid the answer is no you can't upgrade the graphics card

I use a lot of hairspray for my up-do hairstyle and consequently I usually get a lot of over spray all over my ears. Here is my situation. Our offer was accepted by the seller in Sept. We had our inspections, had our appraisal which came in at the price we agreed to pay, finally our FHA loan was approved, but the underwriter ordered another home appraisal to verify the home's value. That appraisal was finally settled at $30k less than the price. Consequently, this changed the parameters of the sale to a short sale, and now their lender must approve. I understand the FHA HUD appraisal is tied to the house for 6 months, so we are being told the bank should no doubt accept, we are in escrow ready to close. What chance is there the bank will drag it's feet or reject the offer altogether? Why would they? It has been a week and the seller's agent is trying to get a decision from the bank? Do we hold off, we do have an appraisal contingency. Any advice is helpful, thank you!!!

How is it that my camera plays 1080p video perfectly smoothly (in camera outputting to HDMI to tv) but...,?

my pc stutters and lags and makes the footage really jerky. The pc processor is 2GHZ, which is surely many hundreds of times faster than the camera's microprocessor, which is probably an ARM or a motorola chip. She is a western pleasure horse that has an awesome jog(and at one time a lope) last year she developed arthritis in her one hind hock. we tried injections, however they did not work. You can still ride probably even show western walk-trot the only time she looks lame is at the lope. She would also make an awesome broodmare. I often get a bit anxious before a big life change - moving overseas, getting married, a new job - once I have tackled the change, I'm fine. Pregnant, Have an INFECTED in grown toe nail, what can I do?

I'm pregnant, and have been dealing with in grown toe nails this past year due to nail fugus (I groom dogs and am always wet in my shoes!!!). I have been able to lift nail out and cut it every few weeks successfully, but the time before this, I got an infection in my right toe and was able to heal it at home by soaking and drawing out infection/pus. This time, it is on my other toe and it is continuing to swell. I can not get the pus to drain out, I've been soaking it and puting on triple antibiotics. I am nervous to go to doctor because due to pregnancy, is it ok for them to numb it? i would like to just have portion or all of nail removed before infection spreads. Should I be calling into work tomorrow, and following days -- will it worsen as I stand on it?
