If i put adhesive bathroom tiles on top of lino will it cause damage?

The sub-floor no. The linoleum however will get stuck to the adhesive tiles. If you try and remove the tiles the linoleum will most likely tare. You might want to ask the landlord for permission and get their input as to what style and color you can use. That way you can just leave the floor as is when you move out.
