Tom Stoppard and Humanism?

Could "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" be considered humanistic literature or at least branch from it as it does derive from Shakespeare's Hamlet? Humanism explores rationality, individuality, and humanity so it that sense it seems right up Tom Stopppard's alley, but it is more modern than the true period that has been deemed the era of Humanism. Please offer any guidance or opinions.
