What is the average cost of a second level addition with raising a roof nine feet no dormers.?

I plan on putting a second story addition on to my 1400 square foot rancher. The attic has a a frame roof with shingles, instead of putting dormers in I plan on raising the roof nine feet and putting a new roof on. I know my foundation can support the new addition, I'm just looking for a rough figure on the construction of the exterior (raising it and building a new roof). The attic has hard wood floors and is totally open.
