Me and my husband rencently moved in our new apt now were getting bug bittes what could it be?

our apt had carpet in the bedrooms when we moved in which i loved for our active sons but we started getting bug bites my son has got bite and so has me nd my husband but there different bites my son get something that looks like mosquitoo bites and me and my husband get bites like little fangs and then this morning my husband found a bug in our bed i think it might be the little bugger that been bitting us its kinda round Burgundy and after my husband killed it u can still make out these little things that look like fangs do u know what it cold be
